What we ask
Fish the reel first. Then say what you'd say to a friend at the launch. That's it.
No scripts. No required talking points. No content schedule. If a week goes by and you don't have anything genuine to share — don't share. The honest stuff is what works.
Three things to watch
Not rules — just things we've seen go sideways before. Heads-up so you don't have to learn it the hard way.
Don't claim it never backlashes.
It can — extreme jerky casts, sudden obstructions, very light lures. Anyone who's fished one knows. Honest beats hype every time, and your audience can tell the difference.
It's not a beginner reel.
It works for first-time casters and 30-year veterans on the same model — that's the whole point. Calling it a beginner reel scares off the experienced angler who'd actually have the loudest reaction once they cast it.
CastGuard isn't another brake.
It's a different kind of reel — built around lure pull, not spool speed. Comparing it to Shimano DC or Daiwa magnetic systems puts it in the wrong category. Anyone who casts both feels the difference.
Language and concepts
Six things that are true about the reel. Not lines to copy — just concepts to carry with you so your own words land right. Your voice is what your audience trusts. These help you describe what's actually happening when you fish the reel.
A different reel, not a better brake.
CastGuard reads lure pull, not spool speed. That's why other reels still need spool tension and a thumb at splashdown. Svivlo doesn't. Patented.
Spinning-reel simplicity in a baitcaster frame.
Same reel for first-timers and 30-year veterans. Not skill-tiered. The avid angler has the loudest reaction once they cast it.
Easier to use, more capable. Advanced simplicity.
The angler stops adjusting, stops tuning, stops thumbing — and gets more time fishing as a result. Easier isn't less. It's the design working.
Rare backlash is still possible.
Extreme jerky casts. Sudden obstructions. That's the boundary — and it's a narrow one. Naming the limits out loud builds more trust than pretending they don't exist.
The slight spool resistance is intentional.
That's what a premium reel built for fewer interruptions should feel like. Most reels remove friction with bearings, then add it back through brakes. Svivlo builds it in where it belongs.
Leave the spool tension where it is.
Factory set. Don't tighten and don't loosen — CastGuard uses spool tension as input, so any change degrades the cast. If distance ever feels off, this is the first thing to check.

How payouts work
Commissions are paid manually after the 60-day Fish-it Guarantee period ends. Once an order is confirmed final, contact us to initiate your payout by invoice.
Send a payout request to creators@svivlo.com with your total eligible commissions. We'll confirm the amount and you invoice us through your chosen method.
Use Frilans Finans or Cool Company. These services act as employer intermediaries — they handle invoicing, employer contributions, and preliminary tax on your behalf. No F-skatt or registered business required.
Use Deel to invoice us. Deel supports contractors in 150+ countries and handles compliance locally. No company required.
Invoice Svivlo directly from your company. Swedish businesses must hold F-skatt. International businesses should use their local tax equivalent. Send invoices to creators@svivlo.com.
If a customer returns their reel within the 60-day Fish-it Guarantee, the associated commission is forfeited. This is why commissions are held for 60 days before becoming eligible.
