Brillianze Sweden AB, reg. no. 559045-5738
Address: Verkstadsgatan 4, 233 51 Svedala, Sweden
Email: customerservice@svivlo.com

2. Personal data we collect

We may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification and contact details: name, address, email, phone number
  • Transaction data: order details, payment information (we never store full payment card details), delivery information
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, usage data from our website
  • Correspondence: customer support messages, warranty/service requests
  • Consent records: marketing subscriptions, cookie preferences

Purpose Legal basis Brief explanation
Order fulfillment, payment processing, and delivery Performance of contract Necessary to complete your purchase and ship the product
Warranty claims and after-sales service Legal obligation Required under EU consumer law (e.g., 2-year conformity guarantee)
Accounting, invoicing, and tax compliance Legal obligation Swedish accounting law (bokföringslagen) requires retention for 7 years
Customer support (e.g., inquiries, issue resolution) Legitimate interest Our legitimate interest in providing effective support and customer satisfaction; we have performed a balancing test and consider it does not override your rights or freedoms (details available on request)
Sending marketing emails (promotions, product news) Consent You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email
Website analytics and performance improvement Consent Only processed with your consent through our cookie consent tool
Quality assurance, product improvement, and internal statistics (e.g., defect trends, usage patterns) Legitimate interest Our interest in continuously improving product quality, reliability (e.g., CastGuard™ performance), and customer satisfaction through data analysis; balancing test confirms this does not override your rights (details on request).

We do not carry out automated individual decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.

4. Retention periods

  • Orders, invoices, and accounting records: 7 years (legal requirement under Swedish bokföringslagen / tax law).
  • Warranty and service cases (including defect reports, claims, and related correspondence): For the duration of the applicable warranty period (typically 2 years minimum under EU law, plus any voluntary extended coverage) + up to 5 years thereafter. This allows us to handle claims, provide support, and analyse patterns for quality assurance, product improvement, and internal statistics (e.g., identifying recurring issues to enhance reel design and reliability). Data used solely for aggregated/anonymised statistics may be retained longer or indefinitely in non-identifiable form.
  • Customer support correspondence (e.g., inquiries, issue resolution): Up to 5 years after closure of the case, or longer if tied to an ongoing warranty/quality matter. This supports effective service, dispute resolution, trend analysis for quality assurance, and business statistics to improve our products and customer experience.
  • Marketing and consent-related data: Until you withdraw consent or object to processing (or up to 2 years of inactivity, whichever comes first).

Once the retention period ends, data is securely deleted, destroyed, or irreversibly anonymised (where continued statistical use is justified). We periodically review retention needs and may shorten periods if purposes are fulfilled earlier.

5. Data sharing and recipients

We share personal data only when necessary with the following categories of recipients (or specific providers where applicable):

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
  • Shipping and logistics partners (e.g., PostNord, DHL, UPS, FedEx)
  • IT, hosting, and analytics service providers (e.g., Google Analytics, if enabled with your consent)
  • Public authorities when required by law (e.g., tax authorities or law enforcement)

We never sell your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers (e.g., certain analytics or cloud tools) may be located outside the EU/EEA (often in the US or other third countries). We ensure an adequate level of protection through:

  • EU adequacy decisions (where the country benefits from one)
  • EU Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs 2021)
  • Additional supplementary measures as needed (e.g., encryption, pseudonymization, transfer impact assessments in line with EDPB recommendations)

For details on specific recipients and safeguards, contact us at customerservice@svivlo.com.

7. Security of your personal data

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures — such as encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments — to protect your data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, or destruction.

8. Your rights under the GDPR

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data (right to be forgotten)
  • Restrict processing
  • Object to processing (including on grounds relating to legitimate interests)
  • Receive your data in a structured, portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing)

To exercise any of these rights, email customerservice@svivlo.com. We will respond within one month (extendable in complex cases).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY): www.imy.se or imy@imy.se.
